Ralph J. Stebbins, Jr. of Grand Forks, ND and formerly of Aberdeen, SD and Emerado, ND passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2011 in 4000 Valley Square, Woodside Village in Grand Forks.
Ralph J. Stebbins was born June 8, 1935 in Raymond, SD the son of Ralph and Ruby (Macer) Stebbins. He moved with his family to Aberdeen, SD where he attended school. Ralph was employed by Bradshaw Sand and Gravel for a number of years. He drove truck for company as well as operating asphalt plants in North Dakota, South Dakota and Montana. Ralph was married to his first wife for 14 years before she passed away from cancer. Ralph married Loretta M. Copper on November 23, 1974 in Aberdeen. Following their marriage, they resided in Emerado. Loretta preceded him in death on November 7, 2008. He resided at Woodside Village since September 2009. He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting deer, geese, pheasants, ducks, fishing on Devils Lake, bowling and doing some woodworking projects. He loved playing Bingo, going to casinos, watching television (especially the Minnesota Twins and Vikings), playing various card games and watching movies.
He survived by his stepchildren, Jon (Marlene) Glaesmann, Newberry, MI; Bonnie (Mike) Juskiewicz, Blaine, MN, Barbara (Scot) Glaesmann-Dannenberg, Andover, MN, Tina Johnson, Dilworth, MN; brothers, Raymond Stebbins, Larry (Marie) Stebbins, all of Aberdeen, SD, Francis (Vanita) Stebbins, Watertown, SD; a sister, Peggy Synegard, Watertown, SD; a sister-in-law, Barbara (Bob) Kuntz, Aberdeen, SD; 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wives; his parents; brothers, Chuck Stebbins, Robin "Bob" Stebbins and a sister, Betty Lanze.
No Funeral Services are scheduled.
