Deborah A. Conlon, age 57 of Grand Forks, ND and formerly of Lankin, ND passed away on Monday, November 8, 2010 at her home in Grand Forks.
Deborah A. Soukup was born September 11, 1953 in Park River, ND the daughter of John and Betty (Votava) Soukup. She grew up and attended schools in Lankin, graduating from Lankin High School. She later graduated from the East Grand Forks Technical College. Following her education she worked at the Grafton Developmental Center and the Riverview Hospital in Crookston, MN. She was united in marriage to Randy Conlon in June of 1976.
Deborah loved spending time with her grandchildren. Her grandson Quintinn and Deborah called each other "Best Friends". She loved doing needle point, working with her flowers, camping and her beloved Minnesota Twins. Deborah lived in Seattle Washington for a few years and while living there she loved to take walks on Alki Beach.
She is survived by her children: Christy (Jason) Mallon, Grand Forks, ND; T.J. Conlon (Carrie Morlan), Crookston, MN; three grandchildren: Quinntin, Jace and Justene; her parents John and Betty Soukup, Lankin, ND; her brother Jeff Soukup, Lankin, ND.
She was preceded in death by an infant brother John David Soukup.
Memorial Mass will be Thursday, November 11, 2010 at 1:00 PM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church of Lankin, ND.
Visitation will be Thursday for one hour prior to the service at the church.
Interment will be at the St. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery, Bechyne, ND.
