Linda L. Dale, 65, Grand Forks, ND died Saturday, October 16, 2010 in Altru Hospital of Grand Forks, ND.

Linda Louise O'Brien was born December 5, 1944 in Rolla, ND the daughter of Floyd and Edith (Shier) O'Brien. She was raised and educated in Rock Lake, ND where she graduated from high school. She moved to Grand Forks and graduated from Aaker's Business College.

Linda married James Dale April 20, 1964 in Grand Forks. They lived and raised their family in Emerado, ND, Virginia, Wheeler Air Force Base, Hawaii, Myrtle Beach, SC and the Gilby - Johnstown, ND area. Linda worked for Scott Farms and later K & K Farms of Gilby before going to work for Valley Bank of Gilby. She moved to Grand Forks where she worked for Bremer Bank until her retirement in 2005.

Linda was an avid reader. She also enjoyed bird watching and puzzles.

Survivors include her daughters, Larissa (Errol) Greene, Plymouth, MN and Marci (Alex) Rodriguez, Grand Forks; sons, Jim (Karen) Dale, Joliet, IL and Jarrod (Kristine "Shorty") Dale, Inkster, ND; grandchildren, Brittany, Emily and Aryn Krueger, Sydney, Dublin, Vegas and Sturgis Dale, Matthew, Benjamin and Aidan Dale, Rebecca Sauvageau; great grandchild, Jonathan Dale; sister, Floreen Bourassa, Omaha, NE; ex-husband, James (Libby) Dale, Shelbyville, IN;

Linda was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Jason, Matthew and by a sister Sharon Johnson.

Funeral Services will be 1:30 PM Wednesday, October 20, 2010 in Amundson Funeral Home of Grand Forks, ND.

Visitation will be for the hour before the service in the funeral home.

Burial will be in Prairie Home Cemetery of Gilby, ND

Arrangements are with Amundson Funeral Home of Grand Forks, ND.
