Harold A. Holub age 63 of Tabor, MN passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at home with his family by his side after a long battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis and Lung Cancer.

Harold A. Holub age 63 of Tabor, MN passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at home with his family by his side after a long battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis and Lung Cancer.
Harold Anton Holub was born on April 11, 1947 in Grand Forks, ND, the son of Anton and Helen (Pietrzak) Holub. Harold attended school at Tabor Country School and Warren High School. On April 30, 1966 he was united in marriage to Shirley White at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Tabor, MN. Harold worked for Pulkrabek Farms near Sherack, MN for 13 years and then took over his family's farm by Tabor, MN in 1980. Harold retired in 1995. He enjoyed ice fishing, hunting, collecting toy tractors and working in his shop.
Loving family members include his wife Shirley of Tabor, MN, children, Pamela (Jeff) Siewert of Buxton, ND, Timothy (Nancy) Holub of Warren, MN and Thomas (Ann) Holub of East Grand Forks, MN, 7 grandchildren, Zachary, Austin and Nicilette Siewert, Colton and Courtney Holub and Tyler and Sydney Holub along with 2 step-grandchildren, Logan and Brenna Austin one brother, LeRoy (Carol) Holub of Fargo, ND, 1 sister, Jeanette (Donald) Ethier of Oakdale, MN along with several nieces and nephews.
Harold is preceded in death by his parents.
Mass of Christian Burial: 10:30 AM on Saturday, August 21, 2010 in Holy Trinity Catholic Church of Tabor, MN
Visitation: 5:00 to 7:00 with a 6:30 PM Prayer Service on Friday, August 20, 2010 in Holy Trinity Catholic Church of Tabor, MN
Interment: Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery ~ Tabor, MN

Dear Holub Family, I'm Jack and Denora Knute's daughter Kris. I just wanted you all to know that you're in my thoughts and prayers. I have many fond childhood memories of spending time with your family at your Mom and Dad's (Tony and Helen) place. I got a chance to visit with Harold a little bit at my Mom's funeral.
