Rosalind Claire (Austin) Huebner, 84, of Gig Harbor, Washington formerly of Grand Forks, and Oakes, N.D, entered her new life on Saturday, July 31, 2010 in Gig Harbor.
Rosalind was born November 22, 1925, one of twelve daughters born to Walter and Regina (Stauss) Austin. Rosalind was married in 1944. Rosalind is survived by seven children: Diana Kimball, Robert Huebner, Cathy Austin, Mark Huebner, Stanley Huebner, Virginia Roberts, and Ady Huebner. Seven surviving sisters include Elaine Altermatt, Carole Kliensasser, Angeline Austin, Darlyne Glinsmann, Joann Driscoll, Virginia Austin, and Paulette Holman. Rosalind is survived by twenty grandchildren. Grandchildren include Cheri Dahl, Daniel Nygord, Jackie Kimball, Jesse Kimball, Brad Huebner, Chad Huebner, Ross Huebner, Kimberly Bye, Amy Blair, Jennifer Hetrick, Andrea Eichhorst, Kristopher Huebner, Matthew Huebner, Jennifer Mata, Katie Langerud, Brett Huebner, Sabrina Grotthedde, Kristin Andring, Alex Powers and Claire Huebner. Rosalind is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Rosalind was preceded in death by her parents and four sisters, Dorothy Davidson, Violet Talley, Sally Beck, and Rebecca (Bette) Sherlock
In Grand Forks, ND on August 12, 2010 viewing will be at the Gregory J. Norman Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., followed by a procession to the graveside ceremony and burial at Memorial Park Cemetery, and a Celebration of Life service will be held at 1:00 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1710 Cherry St. followed by a reception.
