Bebe Ann Bolek, age 83 of Grafton, ND passed away on Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at the Valley Eldercare Center of Grand Forks.

Bebe Ann Slominski was born August 9, 1926 in Warsaw, ND the daughter of the late William and Mary (Ginter) Slominski. She grew up and attended school there. Following her education she worked as a nurse's aide at the St. Anne's Hospital in Grand Forks, ND. She was united in marriage to Edward Bolek on April 19, 1948 in Warsaw, ND. The couple farmed in Oakwood Township until 2009. Bebe Ann worked as a resident care technician at the Developmental Center for 30 years, retiring in 1992. In 2009 the couple moved to the Valley Eldercare Center in Grand Forks.

She was a member of the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.

Bebe Ann is survived by her children: Kathy (Robert) Walski, Oslo, MN; Marvin (Beatrice) Bolek, Ardoch, ND; Kevin Bolek, Warsaw, ND; Elaine (Jeff) Awes, Grand Forks, ND; daughter-in-law Kim Bolek, Grand Forks, ND; ten grandchildren: Tina, Willie, Scott, Nikki, Alex, Megan, Samantha, Ross, David and Evan; seven great grandchildren: Josie, Vincent, Kaia, Cooper, Sofie, Brady and Luke; her siblings: Margie (Ervin) Knaus, Grand Forks, ND; Steve (Evelyn) Slominski, Ardoch, ND; Helen (Junie) Effhauser, East Grand Forks, MN; Louie Slominski, Minto, ND; Theresa Gerszewski, Grand Forks, ND; Dennis (Linda) Slominski, Minto, ND. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Edward on January 26, 2010, her son Wayne, and daughters: Joelene and Marlene and siblings: Stanley, Walter and Aurelia.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, July 23, 2010 at 2:00 PM at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church of Grafton.

Visitation will be Friday for one hour prior to the service.

Interment will be at the St. John's Catholic Cemetery.
