Craig Eugene Minske, 56 of Park Rapids, MN died on Thursday, April 15, 2010 at his home at River Heights Apartments in Park Rapids, MN.

Craig was born on December 8, 1953 at Grand Forks, ND the son of Eugene and Anita (Moore) Minske. He grew up and attended school in the Twin Cities where he graduated from Moundsview High School in 1972. He has lived in Park Rapids for the past several years. In recent years he worked as a home health care assistant. Craig enjoyed hunting, fishing, reading, playing cards, and cared for his pet cat. He was an avid sports fan.

He is survived by his mother, Anita Minske of Fargo, ND; his sisters, Karen (Dan) Hoover of Winona, MN, Kristen (Charles) Richard of West Fargo, ND, Carla Kessel of Hopedale, MA; his niece - Kaitlin Haase of Winona, MN; his nephews, Patrick Richard, Dustin Richard, Michael Richard of West Fargo, ND; his great niece, Kailey Vernon of Winona, MN; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Minske, nephew, Lucas Haase; paternal grandparents, Clarence and Bernice Minske; maternal grandmother, Stella Moore and maternal grandfather, Clarence Moore.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
