Daryl W. Crockett, 77, Grand Forks, ND, died Wednesday, January 20, 2010 in Altru Hospital, Grand Forks.

Daryl Wing Crockett was born August 11, 1932, the son of Elmer and Florence (Livingood) Crockett in Langdon, ND. He attended school in Langdon, and graduated from Langdon High School. He served in the US Army in the Korean War from 1952 to 1954.

Daryl and Jean Marie Chase were united in marriage on May 5, 1961 in Grand Forks. They resided in Grand Forks where Daryl was employed in carpentry until he retired in 1995.

He is survived by his wife Jean, Grand Forks; 2 sons, Kent Alan (Jenny) Crockett, Marion, IA, and Kurt Douglas (Nancy) Crockett, Denver, CO; 6 grandchildren; a sister, Marlys Patterson, Grand Forks.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Trent Ashley Crockett.

Daryl was an avid golfer and enjoyed bike riding.

Memorial Services: 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 23, 2010 in Amundson Funeral Home, 2975 S. 42nd St., Grand Forks, ND.

Visitation: will be one hour prior to the memorial service in the funeral home.

Interment: Memorial Park South Cemetery, Grand Forks.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to you Kurt and your family. Please let us know if there is anything we can do for you. It's been a long time since I've talked to you.
