Roger Kovar, 67, of Alexandria, formerly of East Grand Forks, died Friday, December 11, 2009.

His parents; one brother, Ralph Kovar; and one sister-in-law, Donna Kovar, preceded him in death. Roger is survived by his wife, Anita of Alexandria; one step-daughter, Heather Hugghins of Minneapolis; one brother, Larry Kovar of Alexandria; one sister, Jeannie Braaten and husband, Dennis, of Crosby, MN; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and many friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m. Tue., Dec. 15, 2009 at St. Mary's Church in Alexandria. Interment at a later date in the Lake Leven Cemetery at Villard, MN.

Visitation 4-7 p.m. Mon. with prayers at 4 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home in Alexandria. www.andersonfuneral.net

Please accept my sympathies; I was so sorry to hear of Roger's passing. I think back to our days growing up in East Grand Forks and think of my cousins with a smile. Roger was such a warm, loving person! Your Cousin, Cathy Kovar Foy
