Lynn Kay (Nikle) Arriaga, 45 of East Grand Forks, MN passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2009 at the Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND.
Lynn Kay Nikle was born on January 11, 1964 in Grand Forks, ND, the daughter of Robert H. and Mary H. (May) Nikle. Lynn was raised and attended school in East Grand Forks, MN and worked for the the family farm. She then moved to Florida and worked in telemarketing. On March 29, 1986 she was united in marriage to Felix Arriaga in Bonita Springs, FL. Following their marriage they returned to East Grand Forks, MN where Lynn began to care for her mother Mary until the time of her death. Lynn had a deep passion for animals taking in many stray pets that needed a home. Lynn loved and enjoyed cooking, surfing the net, crafting, fishing and traveling. She will be deeply missed by all who shared her life.
Family members who survive Lynn include her brothers: Richard (Pam) Nikle of East Grand Forks, MN, Robert (Penne) Nikle Jr. of East Grand Forks, MN; one sister: Doris (Terry) Driscoll of Grand Forks, ND; uncle, Ronald Castellano and aunt, June Gipson; six nieces and nephews, Lynn's friend and special Caregiver: Adrian Arriaga and her best friend Cheryl Olson.
Lynn is preceded in death by her parents; husband Felix on January 29, 1993; one aunt; one uncle; her paternal and maternal grandparents.
Memorial Service: 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 3, 2009 in Stennes Funeral Home, 2029 Central Ave. NW, East Grand Forks, MN.
Visitation: 5:00 to 7:00 on Thursday, December 3, 2009 in Stennes Funeral Home.
Burial: Resurrection Cemetery ~ East Grand Forks, MN
