Nancy Johnson, 69, of Northwood, North Dakota died Friday, November 27, 2009 at the Northwood Deaconess Health Center in Northwood.
Nancy Lou Hanson was born December 19, 1939 in McVille, North Dakota the daughter of Ed and Sylvia (Bakke) Hanson. She was raised in Kloten, North Dakota moved with her family to Northwood her senior year of high school. On September 14, 1957 she was united in marriage to Dale Johnson in Northwood and to this union had three children. Nancy worked at the Northwood Deaconess Hospital for many years. Her husband Dale died June 30, 2009.
Nancy enjoyed baking, cooking, bingo and most of all her family. She will be missed by many people as she was a wonderful and caring lady.
She is survived by her daughter, Roxie Pavek of Northwood, North Dakota; son, Dennis Johnson of Northwood, North Dakota; sister, Dianne Grina of Grand Forks, North Dakota and nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death her parents; husband, Dale; son, Brad; brother, Elroy and sisters, Sandra and Sally.
Funeral Services will be 10:30 am, Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at Ebenezer Free Lutheran Church in Northwood with burial in Northwood City Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Bilden Funeral Home on Tuesday from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm with a 7:00 pm Prayer Service and one hour prior to services in the church.
