Kevin Anderson, 48, of Detroit Lakes, MN, formerly of Viking, MN, passed away on Monday morning, November 2, 2009 at Innovis Health in Fargo, ND.
Kevin was born on June 6, 1961 in Thief River Falls, MN, the son of Roger and E. Audrey (Aasand) Anderson. He was raised in the Viking area and graduated from Marshall County Central High School in Newfolden, MN. Kevin married Gloria (Nelson) Osowski in January of 1981 and from this union came their four children. They made their home in Viking where he farmed.
He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.
Kevin enjoyed hunting, fishing and all sports. He was also active in 4-H.
Left to mourn his passing are three children, Jessica (Jeff) Kemp of Bemidji, MN, Jake (Katie) Anderson of Waite Park, MN and Jordan Anderson of Bemidji, MN; granddaughter, Brooke Kemp; sister, Dawn Knoll of Warren, MN; two brothers, Scott (Kristie) Anderson and Michael Anderson all of Viking, MN and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roger and Audrey, and son, Justin.
Funeral Service: 9 a.m. on Friday, November 6, 2009 at Zion Lutheran Church in Viking, MN.
Visitation: After 5 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service on Thursday at DuBore Funeral Home of Warren, MN and one hour before services on Friday.
Interment: Viking Cemetery, Viking, MN.
