LouAnn was born November 15, 1944, in Roseau, MN to Herman and Mamie (Karlstad) Johnson. She was united in marriage to Rodney Anderson on February 12, 1966 in Grafton. They resided in Grand Forks until 1981 when they moved to Grafton to begin employment at the State Developmental Center.
