Wayne John Grochow, 47, passed away from hypertensive heart disease at his home surrounded by his family in East Grand Forks, MN on Sunday, July 5, 2009.

Wayne was born June 18, 1962 son of Willis and Janice (Olson) Grochow in Warren, MN. Wayne met Karen E. Boushey June 21, 1990. They just celebrated 19 wonderful years together. From this union they had a son, Kyle Wayne Grochow.

Wayne loved the outdoors, in the winter there was Ice Fishing and snowmobiling. In the summer, there was fishing and camping at Devils Lake. In the fall, it was time for deer hunting with family and friends.

Wayne worked the majority of his life in concrete construction. In the beginning, he worked for a few construction companies and at the time of his death own and operated the Wayne Grochow Construction LLP. Wayne took a lot of pride in all the jobs he did for other people and businesses. Wayne was very handy and was truly a jack of all trades.

Wayne had a wonderful sense of humor and was very kind hearted. He will be missed deeply. May his memory live forever.

Wayne is survived by his fiancé, Karen E Boushey; their son, Kyle Wayne Grochow; parents, Willis and Janice (Olson) Grochow, Warren MN; brother, Jeffrey Grochow, Warren, MN and a sister Jennifer (Robert) Audette, Viking MN; nephews, Alex and Andy; nieces, Alyssa and Ava Audette; his black Lab Diesel.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 10, 2009 in Gregory J. Norman-Norman Funeral Home, 2950 S. Washington St., Grand Forks, ND.

Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday with a 7:00 p.m. prayer service in the funeral home. Visitation will continue for one hour before the funeral services on Friday.

Burial: Memorial Park Cemetery South, Grand Forks, ND.

Grochow Family---So sorry for your loss. From what I have heard from Dad and Eileen, Wayne was a wonderful man and a wonderful son and father. I am sure he will be greatly missed. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Cheryel and Tammy
