Mollie Holweger, 94, of Grand Forks, ND died Thursday, June 18, 2009 in Valley Eldercare Center, Grand Forks, ND.
Mollie Holweger was born May 5, 1915 in Emerado, ND the daughter of Gottlieb and Dora (Fitchner) Holweger. She grew up and attended school in Grand Forks and graduated from Central High School. She married George Holweger on February 7, 1936 in Grand Forks. They lived in Inkster until 1941 when they returned to Grand Forks.
Mollie was active in Zion United Methodist Church for many years. She enjoyed her family, gardening and visiting with her friends.
Mollie is survived by: Son: James (Marie) Holweger of Rancho Palos Verdes, CA; Daughter: Candy (Rob) Clausen of Grand Forks, ND; three grandchildren, and two great grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her husband George who died in 1981.
Services will be announced at a later date.
