JoAnn Lunski, 59, of Grand Forks, ND died Saturday, May 23, 2009 at the Altru Hospital, Grand Forks, ND.

JoAnn Lunski was born January 18, 1950 in Devils, Lake, ND the daughter of James and Cecelia (Bryl) West. She grew up in Devils Lake and moved with her parents in 1964 to Grand Forks, ND. She graduated from Grand Forks Central High School. She married Hilary Lunski in Grand Forks, ND in August of 1988. She worked at the United Hospital Grand Forks for many years and also attended the East Grand Forks AVTI.

She is survived by her husband Hilary of Grand Forks, children Lisa Henson of Fargo, ND, Troy, Kelly, Casey and Christopher Lunski all of Grand Forks, 1 sister Mary (Richard) Davidson of Grand Forks, and 2 brothers Dr. William West and Dr. Simon Rosser both of Minneapolis, MN, grandchildren Alexis and Lane Lunski, Sammie and Brice Gamboa, Kaden and Jace Lunski, and Faith and Jack Lunski, special friends, Robyn Waltman, Angie Fladeland and Nicole Lunski.

Services: 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 27, 2009 at the St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Grand Forks, ND.

Visitation: Tuesday, from 5-7 p.m. with a 6:30 Prayer service at the Stennes Funeral Home, East Grand Forks, MN and 1 hour before services at the church.

Burial: Calvary Cemetery, Grand Forks, ND.
