Caroline "Carrie" Radi, 102, of Fisher, MN, died Wednesday Morning, April 29, 2009 in the Villa St. Vincent Nursing Home in Crookston, MN.

Carrie was born on April 18, 1907 in Nesbit Township near Fisher, the daughter of Charles and Freda (Michael) Wagner. She was baptized on May, 16, 1907 and confirmed on March 21, 1921 in the Trinity Lutheran Church in Fisher. Carrie grew up on the family farm and attended country schools. On March 14, 1928, she was united in marriage to Ernest Radi in the Trinity Lutheran Parsonage. Together they farmed for many years before Ernest retired. Carrie and Ernest celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on March 14, 1978. Sadly Ernest passed away in August of that same year. Later, Carrie moved to Fisher. She was a lifetime member of Trinity Lutheran Church and belonged to the Trinity Ladies Aid, Lutheran Women's Missionary League and the South Lowell Homemakers Study Club. Blessed be the memory of Caroline "Carrie" Radi.

Loving family members include five daughters and sons-in-law, Irene and Milton Williams of Fisher, MN, Elda and Howard Higginbotham of Renton, WA, Ellen and Edward Gillner of Kent, WA, Norma and Donald Adams of Las Vegas, NV and Marilyn and Robert Menard of Boise, ID; two daughters-in-law, Pearl Radi and Carol Jean Radi, both of Crookston, MN; eighteen grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Evelyn Wagner and Erma Wagner, both of Crookston; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Besides her husband, Ernest, Carrie was preceded in death by her parents; three sons, Erwin (1964), Leslie (1988) and Raymond (1994); brothers, Clarence, Robert, Howard, Harry and Harvey Wagner; sister, Edna Weiland; three infant grandchildren, Diane, Dennis and baby girl Radi; and a grandson, Ron Radi.

The Funeral Service for Caroline Radi will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 5, 2009 in the Trinity Lutheran Church in Fisher, MN, with Rev. Tim Winterstein, officiating.

Visitation will be on Monday from 5-7:00 p.m., with a 7:00 p.m. prayer service, and also for an hour before the funeral at the church.

Interment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery in Fisher.

Arrangements are with the Stenshoel-Houske Funeral Home.
