A helicopter crew of professional wildlife wranglers transports a bighorn sheep
A helicopter crew of professional wildlife wranglers transports a bighorn sheep in February 2010 in the North Dakota Badlands. The North Dakota Game and Fish Department recently hired the crew to capture a dozen bighorns, which then were transported from a heavily traveled stretch of U.S. Highway 85 to a more remote area to reduce the incidence of road-kill deaths. At least a half-dozen sheep near the North Unit of Theodore Roosevelt National Park have been killed by vehicles since 2010. (Brett Wiedmann, N.D. Game and Fish Department)
