Elizabeth P. McIntosh, 97, works this month at the typewriter at her home in Lake Ridge, Va. She was a reporter in Honolulu when Pearl Harbor was attacked in 1941. Her written account of the attack and aftermath was deemed too graphic to run in the Honolulu Star-Bulletin. It is published this week for the first time, in The Washington Post.
