Jeff Welsh of Grand Forks shot this 10-point buck about 8:30 a.m. Nov. 11 in North Dakota Unit 2F1 near the Sheyenne River. “I was a in a deer hut with my dad, and I missed a nice buck earlier in the morning,” Welsh writes. “Fortunately we stayed patient and another nice one came by.” The big buck weighed 200 pounds field-dressed, Welsh writes.
