Leroy Wegenast of Jamestown, N.D., shares Wednesday, June 27, 2012, a self published autobiography of his service in the Vietnam War which included letters he wrote and sent home. “I don’t think I expect anything or want anything (for the 50th anniversary commemoration),” he said. “I’m sure, if you interviewed a lot of veterans, they’d say it’s 50 years too late to do anything.”
