The Souris River cut a path through the middle of Minot, in this aerial photo commissioned by the N.D. Department of Transportation on June 28, 2011, three days after the river crested. The photo and many others taken up and down the valley are part of a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers after-action report released this week.
