Day care provider Becky Swanson tells a Senate committee Monday that she opposes current state law that forces some Minnesotans to join unions. With her is Sen. Dave Thompson of Lakeville, sponsor of a constitutional amedment that would ban such mandates. Swanson is a Dakota County day care provider and former Worthington resident.
