Leslie Bibb’s N.D. connection:
Leslie Bibb, who plays Amanda (right), the central character in the new ABC comedy “GCB,” was born in 1974 in Bismarck and raised in Nelson County, Virginia. At 16, she won a nationwide modeling search on “The Oprah Winfrey Show.” Her past movie roles include playing Kevin James’ girlfriend in “Zookeeper” and the wife of Ricky Bobby (Will Ferrell) in “Talladega Nights.” On TV, she’s been in the casts of “Entourage,” “Crossing Jordan,” “Popular” and “ER.” Annie Potts (left) plays Amanda's mother.
