Lindsey Harper, director at Niigaane Immersion School, hosted in the Bug-O-Nay-Ge-Shig School in Bena, records jaydyn "Namajiins" Johnson walking down a red carpet carrying an Emmy Award. Last year, the 34 students in Ojibwe immersion school were featured in a documentary "Restoring Ojibwe Language," which won the award by Twin Cities Public Television. On Friday, students held a farewell ceremony to the award as it travels next week to Bemidji State University, which also featured in the documentary.
