Many homes were still under water in Minot, N.D. on Wednesday, July 13, 2011. The U.S. government will help the flooded city of Minot "for the duration," the Cabinet secretary responsible for federal disaster assistance said Wednesday, but also cautioned that North Dakota residents should better prepare for future disasters.
