Charged particles of light

A proton-proton collision at the Large Hadron Collider particle accelerator at CERN laboratory in Geneva that produced more than 100 charged particles in 2010. In a different test at CERN, scientists say, an oddball subatomic particle was clocked traveling at a speed faster than light -- putting a fundamental pillar of physics to task. (CERN Laboratories)
