Mouth of the Red River



Red from the air:
The Red River opens into a maze of channels as seen from about 2,000 feet Thursday evening near its mouth at Manitoba’s Lake Winnipeg, which is on the horizon. The Red flows 550 miles from its source in Wahpeton-Breckenridge north to the mouth of the river at Lake Winnipeg.
