Mary Lee Reinscheld became the first person in the U.S. to enroll in Humana's new Medicare prescription-drug plan, co-branded with Walmart, on November 15, 2010 in Louisville, Kentucky. Reinscheld enrolled in the plan at the Walmart where she often shops in Louisville. Today is the first day of the annual Medicare enrollment period (Nov. 15 to Dec. 31), when senior citizens and disabled people select their Medicare coverage for 2011.
