Shrek cups

In this Friday, June 4, 2010 picture, Jasmine Matta, 7, poses for a portrait at her home in West Hollywood, Calif. behind her favorite "Shrek"-themed glasses which were distributed in McDonald's Happy Meals. Federal regulators leaned on McDonald's to quickly recall 12 million "Shrek"-themed drinking glasses in Spring 2010 because they concluded a typical 6-year-old could be exposed to hazardous cadmium levels just by touching one of the glasses eight times in a day, according to documents obtained under the federal Freedom of Information Act. Of the four collectible glasses, levels of the toxic metal were highest in the ones depicting the orange cat Puss in Boots. (AP Photo/Adam Lau, File)
