Wal-mart kiosk

Steve Nagel (right), Wal-Mart assistant manager, helps Debra Davis send an e-mail at the Jamestown store Wednesday asking North Dakota lawmakers to pass House Bill 1440. The bill would repeal a North Dakota law that requires all pharmacies to be majority-owned by pharmacists. Wal-Marts across North Dakota had kiosks in place Wednesday to encourage customers and employees to write to their legislators. Davis, who works as a jewelry coordinator for Wal-Mart, said she e-mailed every member of the Legislature. The e-mail campaign has irked some legislators, who call it spam. (Logan C.
