Just like Matthew above, I was a junior lieutenant and former NCO in the 448th, who looked up to Joe. He was the example I could point to of a great NCO and beyond that just a great person. Sympathy and thoughts go out to Joe's family. He will be missed by us all.

When I was reassignd toGrand Forks AFB from Moron AB, Spain 1965 Thru 1968 Joe was in servcing Branch 319th OMS. Joe had an outgoing personality and was very easy to make friends with. After retiring from The USAF I got reconnected to Joe as he married Faye Brager who was a God Child of my sister Amy Wendlicks father in law. I had talked to Joe a few times and shared old Memories of our military experiences. Our deepest sympathy on the loss of your husband Faye and to Joes children. May god Bless Joes Soul and welcome joe into gods kigdom in heaven. N.A. Wilkie Msgt USAF Retired Puyallup, Washington

Joe Conzo was a wonderful Airman and NCO leader. More than that, he was what we all know as "a great guy." I remember his laughter as well as his tremendous commitment to ensuring that his people were treated professionally, respectfully and with compassion. I was a junior lieutenant - and an ex NCO myself - when I first met Joe. I really looked up to him. I'm very sorry that the world has lost his laughter but hope to hear it and see him again in the hereafter. With gratitude to his wonderful family for their sacrifices in sharing this wonderful man with all of us; you are in our hearts. Matthew Stafford - and so many men and women of the 448th Strategic Missile Squadron who share your sense of loss
