Carol and Family, Jerry and I send our sincere sympathy in the loss of Harlan. I have known Harlan since our very young years and in these later years, Jerry worked with him during sugar beet hauling and he always enjoyed his sense of humor. May God give you strength and peace. Joyce (McMenamy) and Jerry Nefs

Dear Carol, I am so sorry to hear about Harlan’s passing. Even though it’s been years since I talked to him, I remember him as one of the hardest-working men I’ve known. In fact the last time I remember talking to him, I was helping him remove snow during the last winter before I moved to Colorado. He paid a good wage for which I was truly grateful, especially at a time when I really needed extra money. Lindsay and I wish you God’s peace, and look forward to seeing you and introducing Lorelei to you and Shelly in a couple of weeks. Love, Scott
