Dear Rosie and family, Curt and I were deeply saddened to learn of Ted's death. The Black family was one of the first families we met when we moved to Rider Road in 1983. Angie babysat for our children and Wyatt and Sam were playmates to Kathryn and Sarah. Ted and Rosie were involved parents who cared not only about their children but children in the community as well. Always genreous with their time and friendship, they helped to make us feel welcome in the neighborhood. The years seem to have flown by and our children are now adults with families of their own. Ted's (and Rosie's) legacy of love, laughter, and committment to their family and community was demonstrated to many who knew them. We will keep you all close in our hearts and daily in our prayers in this very difficult time. Our deepest sympathy to you all. Love, Mary and Curt Radel

Rosie & family, Our deepest sympathy on Ted's passing. My husband and I thought you were two of the most wonderful people. I worked with Ted during the flood while he was a FEMA employee. You were both so dedicated to what you were doing in life. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. You will always be in our hearts. May he now rest in peace. Pat & Bobby Owens
