Oprah ending her show after 25 years

Holding back tears, Oprah Winfrey told her studio audience today that she would end her show in 2011 after a quarter-century on the air, saying prayer and careful thought led her to her decision. Winfrey told the audience that she loved “The Oprah Winfrey Show,” that it had been her life and that she knew when it was time to say goodbye. “Twenty-five years feels right in my bones and feels right in my spirit,” she said.
Singer Miley Cyrus wasn’t on tour bus that crashed, killing driver
The driver of a Miley Cyrus tour bus was killed Friday when the bus overturned, but the 16-year-old “Hannah Montana” star wasn’t on board, Virginia State Police said.

The Minnesota-based a cappella quartet Tonic Sol-fa will return Monday to UND’s Chester Fritz Auditorium in Grand Forks with a 7:30 p.m. concert that’s different from the one they gave here a year ago. But it keeps the fan favorites from previous performances.
