Woman dies in fire
Stacy Williams, 21, died early Thursday in a house fire in north Grand Forks. Police Officer Derrick Johnston was checking into a report of a suspicious person — unrelated to the fire — around the 900 block of Sixth Street North about 1:25 a.m. when he noticed heavy smoke and tracked it to the home at 512 N.
