Despite the year’s high prices across the commodities boards, family farmers are certainly not getting rich, Walsh County Farmers Union president Scott Udby said Wednesday morning at a “Farmer’s Share Meal” in Grafton, N.D. If anything, he pointed out, farmers are earning less of a share in the cost of foods than in the past.
