N.D. OKs $1.8 million for Red River Valley water project
BISMARCK — The state Water Commission has OK’d $1.8 million in state funds to nudge the Red River Valley Water Supply Project. Combined with $600,000 from the Garrison Diversion Conservancy District and the Lake Agassiz Water Authority, the project can begin obtaining options on land where a pipeline would be buried and writing a semi-final plan, said Dave Koland of the Garrison Diversion Conservancy District.By: By Janell Cole, State Capitol Bureau
