Minnesota Health Dept. pulls curtain on smoke-ban 'theater' loophole
The agency is responding to a growing trend of bars holding “theater nights.” Employees and customers declare themselves actors so they can smoke inside. The smoking ban adopted last year had an exemption for theatrical productions.
