SMORGASBORD: You’ve got it made

Diane Phillips, a cooking instructor who calls herself the Diva of Do-Ahead, turns her attention to family meals in her newest book, “You’ve Got It Made” (Harvard Common Press, $14.95). It’s aimed at those who cook on the weekend to have meals to serve later in the week or who like to make ahead and freeze in a home version of the meal assembly services that have sprung up everywhere.
