LOCAL UPDATE
Rep. Earl Pomeroy, D-N.D., will hold a meeting at 11 a.m. today with employees of the Grand Forks Human Nutrition Research Center to discuss President Bush's proposal in his fiscal year 2009 budget to eliminate the program.
