On the issues
The North Dakota presidential caucuses will be held Feb. 5. In the end, the caucus will select a number of men and women to attend two national conventions, one for Democrats and one for Republicans. From there, each respective party will vote to determine the next presidential nominee. Right now, most teenagers have no voice in the choosing of the next president. Yet, the actions of the voters this year have the potential to affect everyone's life, especially the teens of today. By the next North Dakota presidential caucues in 2012, most current teenagers will be of voting age. We, the future voters, need to understand the current issues and be able to act. Here are some issues that directly affect teenagers and the candidates' official stances on them.
