Joe was born June 12, 1943 in The Bronx section of New York City. At 14 he moved to Massapequa Park on Long Island, NY. He enlisted in the U. S. Air Force at 18 and served much of his time at Grand Forks Air Force Base, He spent 9 years as part of the Presidential Support Team at Andrews Air Force Base, Maryland and Offut Air Force Base, Nebraska for presidents Carter and Ford. Joe retired as a Master Sergeant after 26 years of service. He worked several years as a federal employee in Logistics Readiness as an auto mechanic, and in Civil Engineering as a locksmith.
