Alyce was born August 5, 1921 in Petersburg, ND, the daughter of Hans and Mary (Donnelly) Wangen. She grew up on a farm and attended school in the Petersburg area and later went to Larimore High School. Alyce took accounting classes and was later employed at A & L Potato Co. in East Grand Forks, MN as a bookkeeper.

Alyce McMillan, age 91, of Larimore, ND, passed away Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at the Larimore Good Samaritan Center.Alyce was born August 5, 1921 in Petersburg, ND, the daughter of Hans and Mary (Donnelly) Wangen.
