Gordy was born on October 20, 1944 in Grand Forks, ND, the son of Edward and Ardath (Anvinson) Jenkins. He was raised in Oslo where he attended school. On March 16, 1968, he was united in marriage to Corinne Nordlund. They made their home in rural Alvarado. Gordy worked several jobs including working construction, owning and operating Gordy’s Diner and working for the City of Alvarado.

Gordy Jenkins, 68, of Alvarado, MN, passed away on Wedensday, January 9, 2013 at Pioneer Memorial Care Center in Erskine, MN.Gordy was born on October 20, 1944 in Grand Forks, ND, the son of Edward and Ardath (Anvinson) Jenkins.
