Sister Mary Joyce was born on July 27, 1940 at Drake, ND and died peacefully on December 31, 2012 in her home at the Provincial House at Hankinson, ND. Sister was received into the Novitiate of the Dillingen Franciscan Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary on July 7, 1960 and her perpetual vows were professed August 15, 1966. Sister had celebrated her Golden Jubilee on June 27, 2012.

Funeral services for Sister Mary Joyce Gagne will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2013, 1 o’clock p.m. at St. Francis Convent Immaculate Heart of Mary Chapel, Hankinson, ND.
