Peggy A. Rehling was born on September 24, 1960 at the Richardton Hospital in Richardton, N.D., the daughter of Oscar and Violet (Mann) Rehling. She grew up and attended school in Beulah, ND. Peggy attended Dickinson State University and graduated in 1998 with a Bachelor’s Degree in nursing. She made nursing her life's work and career, devoting the past ten years as a health nurse for the Grand Forks Senior Citizen's Center. Peggy married the love of her life, David Kirk, on March 15, 2009, in Grand Forks.
