Lester married Hilda Hansen, September 16th, 1941. They made their home in rural Bowesmont, where nine children were born to them. He farmed in Bowesmont, ND and Lake Bronson, MN areas until 1967. They moved to Lincoln, NE and bought a semi and started trucking. He hauled grain to Duluth and ran a reefer van and hauled produce to and from Florida. Driving over 6 million miles until his retirement in 1998. They moved to rural East Grand Forks in 1980. Lester lived at home until Hilda passed away in 2009, and he went to live with his daughter Larelda. Lester made Kittson Memorial Healthcare Center his home for the past year and a half in Hallock, MN.

Lester Lloyd Juhl, age 93, passed away Dec 6th, 2012, at Kittson Memorial Healthcare Center, Hallock, MN. Lester was born May 13th, 1919, at home in rural Bowesmont, ND 4th son of nine children, to Henry and Christina (Berthelsen) Juhl. Lester attended the Mugford country school and graduated 8th grade from Fleece Country school, Bowesmont, ND.
