COUNTRY SCRIBE: Land prices booming
Recently, the Grand Forks Herald reported that a parcel of farmland near Park River, N.D., sold for more than $10,000 per acre, a record in the state. The same week, Iowa set a record when an 80-acre parcel of farmland sold for $21,900 per acre. It’s boom time on the prairie.By: Eric Bergeson, Grand Forks Herald
