Rose Lambert
Rose Lambert, 88, of Hallock Minnesota, entered into the Kingdom of Heaven on December 11th 2011 at Kittson Memorial Nursing Center of Hallock. Rose Randazzo was born on February 15th 1923 to Antonino and Rosalie Randazzo of Detroit, Michigan. Rose attended school at Miller High School in Detroit and worked for Woolworths Clothing Store until joining the USO during World War 2 where she met Phillip Lambert. Phillip and Rose were married on June 8th 1946. In 1955 Phillip and Rose moved to the family farm in Hazelton Township east of Hallock, MN, where they raised their family and operated a dairy farm. Rose was a hard worker and never complained. Rose was an awesome mother of nine children and still found time to participate in her favorite activities such as Ladies Aid, Home Makers, baking many loaves of bread every week, and making homemade jelly from berries she picked in the woods surrounding the farm. She was known for crocheting hats, scarfs and blankets for anybody who could use them and always loved visiting with friends and relatives. Many times she would write letters to friends and family in the wee hours of the night when everyone else was asleep. Rose also enjoyed reading the letters she received from her children, grandchildren, relatives, and friends. Rose was very proud of her Italian heritage and often made delicious Italian dishes for her family and friends.
